2025 Boycott Schedule
Join with thousands (maybe even hundreds of thousands) of others to not shop at specific stores during these months.
February - shop black-owned businesses where you can. If there aren’t any near you, look for other locally owned businesses, such as Asian-owned markets. Try something new. You can also support Palestinian businesses.
February 28 - shopping blackout day. Just don’t spend any money anywhere.
March/April - Walmart
May/June - Target
July/August - Amazon (Don’t let those Prime Day “deals” fool you!)
September - Walmart
October - Target
November/December - Amazon, Walmart and Target
The holidays are a time for high consumerist pressure. You can develop new family traditions surrounding the holidays to reduce this stress. Don’t be afraid to change things up. The point of celebrations at this time of year is to surround yourself with light and love to fend off seasonal depression.
If you’re not crafty or good at cooking or baking, Etsy and local businesses may have good items to give. You can always spread your Christmas shopping throughout the year, too.
2/24/25 Addendum - If there are brands that you like to buy on Amazon or at other stores, take a look at that brand’s website and see what options there are for getting free samples or subscriptions to products you use directly from their site. You might be able to get some coupons, too!
